Self-Check-In Service Now Available at Pristina International Airport ‘Adem Jashari’
Passengers can now check in for their flights and manage their baggage independently using the new self-check-in kiosks.
Following the addition of four new gates and enhancements to passenger processing areas, Pristina International Airport has officially launched its self-check-in service.
Since August, PIA 'Adem Jashari' has provided a system that allows passengers to check in for their flights and manage their baggage on their own. This initiative is part of a broader technological effort to streamline the pre-flight experience for travelers. The airport has installed six self-check-in kiosks and ten self-bag drop stations for baggage handling.
Passengers are advised to use these facilities in accordance with their flight's opening and closing times. Self-check-in procedures can be completed up to three hours before departure and must be finalized at least 40 minutes prior to the flight's departure time.
Required Documents for Self-Check-In:
To utilize the self-check-in kiosks, passengers must possess a passport, as ID cards are not yet supported by these devices. However, passengers who have completed online check-in with an ID card can use it to print their ticket at the self-check-in kiosks.
Since the introduction of self-check-in in August, over 26,000 passengers have successfully completed the check-in process independently, and more than 15,000 pieces of baggage have been processed through the self-bag drop stations.
